Israeli Company Bidding Hard to Build Trump’s Wall

The Israeli company that built Israel’s border fence is making a play this week to construct U.S. President Donald Trump’s wall with Mexico.

According to Bloomberg, the U.S.-based unit of Magal Security Systems Ltd. presented at a January 31 conference on border security attended by officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The company, whose shares have risen almost 50% since Trump’s election, showcased a fiber-optic fencing system that it says is used in airports and seaports around the world. The company also built Israel’s border fence with Gaza and the West Bank.

“We have the right product and we have the experience in Israel that helps in showcasing our product,” Magal’s Chief Executive Officer Saar Koursh told Bloomberg.

Israel contends the fences keep Israel safe, while Palestinians say they are part of a system of collective punishment that limits freedom of movement.

Trump cited Israel an example of a nation that has stopped undocumented immigration in an interview with Fox News.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted about the fence’s effectiveness in a subsequent tweet.

Years ago I was driving on the highway. An improperly-loaded truck began dumping lumber, fencing, gasoline cans, rocks, full 5-gallon paint buckets, ladders, tools, coolers, and everything else onto the roadway.

The two nearest cars crashed into each other trying to avoid everything and burst into flame. The drivers exited and watched as their two vehicles become completely engulfed...and reduced to charred dust. Two other drivers collided into the debris, with vehicle damage so extensive they were beyond repair. My car was struck by a section of wooden fence and "only" had about $1500 worth of damage. I was the lucky one.

Workers poured from the vehicle as if from a clown car.
They tried to clean-up everything as we told them to STOP because they were interfering with an accident scene. Local police, State Police, fire trucks, and ambulances all responded. Licenses, registrations, and insurance cards were all taken with information carefully exchanged.

A few days pass and I called to obtain my police report.
The driver of the truck apparently used a fake name, fake license, fake registration, and forged insurance card. Not a single piece of true information!
When asked about what was I to do, the officer said, "Sorry, we all got fooled. I guess it would be best to pay out-of-pocket. Tough break."

In the span of ten seconds, that crew of illegal immigrants caused $120,000+ of vehicle loss, summoned more than a dozen emergency responders onsite, invoked expensive rescue equipment, put countless others at risk, and then they disappeared never to be seen again. Can someone tell us again why this "diversity" allegedly makes us stronger?

it’s sick- and it has to stop- Our medicair, and SS and SSD for legal citizens here, is supposedly are ‘running out of money’- yet somehow our country finds hundreds of billions of dollars for illegals here in the states, and hundreds of billions of dollars for terrorist nations throughout the world

How many violent criminal illegals did obama let go during his term? Back into the streets here in the US? It’s estimated that there are hundreds of thousands of violent criminal illegals roaming our streets today- the issue is so corrupt that organizations were handing out pamphlets instructing illegals where to get stolen SS ID’s- (There was an article here on FR awhile back about that)

You watch the show cops, and note how many hispanics they pull over who have no licenses- You just know most of them are very likely illegals

It’s just stunning to me that the liberals want to destroy our cities and towns by allowing this crime in- That report i listed was from years ago- the numbers of crimes, murders, rapes etc I’m sure is much higher today- and I’ve read reports that claim nearly 65% of illegals are on some form of government handout- funny how we can find all kinds of money for non citizens, but not for our nations most vulnerable- the elderly and disabled

Agree. But their is a part of me that wants the Bust of Churchill on top of the Wall every mile or so or his face casted in the concrete facing south, just to, well you know the drill :-).

Seriously, with the number of Senators that are of the Jewish Faith, how Israel has been treated by the previous administration, and given the historical patterns of Reform Jews in this country, I am curious to see this unfold if this Israeli firm is chosen. Some folks are going to either change their tune, have an epistemological awaking, or their heads might metaphorically explode.

Exactly. No matter what it costs it will save us money and the country itself. It cost us billions more just to educate non english speaking immigrants plus it takes away classroom time from citizen kids. It seems both Ds and Rs are crying about where are we going to get the money. Yet Obama etc comes up with it at the snap of the fingers if it meets some political objective like foreign aid and I include to Israel and every other country.

We need to focus on MAGA and forget borrowing more to pay other countries aid. Sealing our borders has not been an establishment priority but Trump will change that. We dont need other countries to build our walls either.
