The Israeli company that built Israel’s border fence is making a play this week to construct U.S. President Donald Trump’s wall with Mexico.
According to Bloomberg, the U.S.-based unit of Magal Security Systems Ltd. presented at a January 31 conference on border security attended by officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The company, whose shares have risen almost 50% since Trump’s election, showcased a fiber-optic fencing system that it says is used in airports and seaports around the world. The company also built Israel’s border fence with Gaza and the West Bank.
“We have the right product and we have the experience in Israel that helps in showcasing our product,” Magal’s Chief Executive Officer Saar Koursh told Bloomberg.
Israel contends the fences keep Israel safe, while Palestinians say they are part of a system of collective punishment that limits freedom of movement.
Trump cited Israel an example of a nation that has stopped undocumented immigration in an interview with Fox News.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasted about the fence’s effectiveness in a subsequent tweet.

In Israel they also have electric fences which I think is a great idea here..have one of these vermin try to cross the border illegally and watch them become a crispy critter
Should be built by Americans ; maintained by Americans and patrolled by Americans.
If the Israeli company gets the contract the workers will be Americans.
Based on that logic Germany, Japan, France, Korea and Italy each owe us several trillion dollars in infrastructure construction just for our help after World War II. Plus Germany should gift us two dozen of those nice conventional submarines that they build.

•In Los Angeles, 95% of some 1,500 outstanding warrants for homicides are for illegal aliens. About 67% of the 17,000 outstanding fugitive felony warrants are for illegal aliens.

We have a very serious and very expensive problem on our hands when it comes to illegals- The left has been desperately trying to hide this fact by making it seem like illegals are all hard working individuals who escape brutal conditions to come here to make a better life for themselves and to help our country- While some may- not very many do- many wind up on some forms of government welfare or handouts-

I saw a U tube some place that showed Israel with pillbox placements every hundred yards armed with automatic twin 50’s on heat sensors. It showed a jack rabbit wonder across the marked zone and disappear in a blur of red.
I still think a canal cut across would be more economical. We could charge for passage and the current would be too strong to swim. It would lower the waterline around Florida and flood out Californicate at the same time. Win! Win! Win!

Cute, but that’s over 10 years so comes out to 3.8 billion a year. We give almost 6 times that amount to the hostile Islamic countries surrounding them every year. And it pales into insignificance against the 150 Billion we gave Iran. That’s more in one year than Israel has received since 1948.
So no, that won’t cover it.
Take a look at the linked pic. Too bad we can’t put armed troops on the border with orders to shoot trespassers. Bet that helps secure the border more than the fence or wall.
