Perhaps we are experiencing a modern-day version of the Biblical "grapes of wrath". Or a refining fire.

God uses such events to trample out the vintage and remove the dross.

The Godless Left is exposing itself for what it truly is and those who have been standing on the sidelines are not liking what they are seeing.

The Left screams that rational limitations on the endless hordes of non-Americans who want to come here are not “Who We Are”

I swear to God, if I ever hear the phrase, "That's not who we are" again, I'm going to take a flame-thrower to something.

Regarding “razor thin margin”...

I’m just being objective here. I was a very reluctant Trump supporter before the election, and I’ve become an almost-enthusiastic Trump supporter since, so I’m just trying to be fair.

In the electoral college (which, yes, I do support and LOVE), it was a quite definitive victory.

But in a column about people, you have to talk about numbers of people.

By describing it as a razor thin margin of victory, I’m saying this: Hillary won the popular vote when you count the stolen votes of the massive Democrat vote fraud that’s baked into every American election. Take that vote fraud out, and I believe Trump won the real American citizen vote by a couple million votes.

But that’s still a close election. We’re not in a 75-25 split in America right now, it’s a 50-50 country.

So we have a lot of work to do.

Part of my effort in writing as I do is to try to break away some of the people on the left and bring them over to the right where they belong. Don’t know if I’m having any luck... just that it’s what I’m attempting!

Agreed! Worth the read :)

I was just commenting on another thread about some of my (many) opinions. It makes me feel older than my real age at times because I am out of step with so many women I encounter who are actually my age. Therefore, I refer to myself as a crotchety old woman. In truth, that’s not who I am. And I am thrilled that this election has delineated the truth that we as conservative people know. We are the American people and We The People are taking back our nation.

President Trump is attempting to bring some sanity to our immigration programs – requiring vetting before admission of refugees, for example, so that we don’t suffer the horrific outbreaks of criminality – car fires, riots, gang rapes, honor killings, and the like – that Europe has suffered for years, at the hands of these very same so-called “refugees.”

pussy footing. My America would have more common sense, common sense is gone.

Good job!

Of that 50% left-wing vote I think about half are probably just ignorant. If they know the truth, the truth will make them free. I will admit that since I am no longer in the work force I don't come in contact with a lot of people. But when we do, I believe our effort should be made to educate the left. They have no truth of consequence to change our politics. We have much in our arsenal of fact.

The scripture I applied may be aimed at evangelism but it should be our goal in life in all things. Too many people just have no teaching. If we don't do it, who will. Great job :)

Wrong. Massive voter fraud in California alone takes away the razor thin argument.

Look, I don’t want to disagree, believe me...

And I agree that there’s massive voter fraud all over the country... certainly NOT just in California.

But even if there were five million stolen votes - as I believe there were - then Trump won by a couple million rather than lost by a couple million.

That’s STILL a razor thin victory.

A real victory... a legitimate victory... believe me, I’m not slamming it!

I’m just saying that we should be at 75-25 or 80-20 against Democrats.

The Democrats are THAT bad.

And yet, it’s 50-50 on election day, every time, give or take just a few points.

We have a LOT of educating to do.

We are the Right, the middle, the populists, the real Americans. We are the movement that recognizes the fact that when 95 million people are outside the workforce, that’s NOT a five percent unemployment rate, no matter WHAT the book-cookers may say. We proclaim the truth, and demand a solution, by returning the nation to the free market growth engine that America was intended to be.

If all 325 million people we have were employable, that would still calculate as near 30% unemployment.

Well.. that 95 million number isn’t based on the full population of the country... it’s based on legal residents (citizens, green card holders, etc) of working age, so that’s 17 and up to the late 60s, I believe. Something of that nature.

Here it is. The 95 million starts with 16 year old legal residents, and up. Doesn’t seem to have a cap.

So we DO expect there to be a significant number here, in the “out of the workforce” number, since we hope that lots of people retire at around 65, and we hope that lots of families will be able to survive on one income, so the mom (presumably, but not always) can stay home with the kids.

So that’s why the number is in the millions, and not just in the thousands.

But even so, it shouldn’t be 95 million.

This means that tons of the 16-22 crowd of kids in high school and college who should have part time jobs couldn’t even find part time jobs. It means that tons of people are forcibly retired before they wanted to.

It means that tons of people who WANT jobs can’t find them.

and that’s what America is rising up to recognize, be furious about, and want to fix!!!!

On issue after issue, policy after policy, the un-American Left has spent a century undermining this nation, turning away from the great design of our Founding Fathers. The Left took a nation that was designed to respect and protect the individual, and gradually twisted our very institutions – from the far-off central bureaucracy to our local schools – to attack the individual and to collectivize everything they could.

For a pro-Trump article that directly addresses "Who We Are.

I agree with you John, but the GOP establishment is half this problem too. These guys are complicit with the Democrats and the party needs a purge or we need to abandon it.

We have to educate as you say, and included in that education is that millions of us let the sitting GOPe know we know, and we want cooperation or their elimination.
