.......this is pacifism pure and simple! I once had a three day interview with a guy who was a CPA/lawyer. Day one went great, day two went great and I had decided I would probably hire him. Then, on the evening of the third day, he told me was a “pacifist”. I responded.....”let me get this straight....if you were in a parking lot and some guy came up and started molesting you wife (she was sitting right next to him), then you would do nothing?’
He said “Yes”. I went silent and minutes later I just told him that given how closely we would have to work in my small company that I KNEW it wouldn’t work.
So, we parted company. The notion that “playing nice” to ISIS will cause them to leave us alone is equally stupid. It’s just off the chart stupid!
