I have never seen the poster reply to anyone. Maybe a posting bot? I noticed the same thing some months back, so I took a look at Sean_Anthony's posting history. He posts an average of six articles a day, but has only commented five times in the last two years. Two of those comments were to correct a bad link.
The guy is a click farmer.
