There are plenty of people right here on Free Republic that embrace the living Constitution.

The Constitution states only a natural born citizen may be President.
That was a well understood term meaning born here of citizen parents, solely an American with no possibility of being anything else.

Because their favorite politician isn’t one they want to stretch that to mean anyone born a citizen, which would include the recently deceased King of Thailand (born here), Winston Churchill ( American on his mother’s side) and every anchor baby with no allegiance to this country or its citizens.

The Constitution contains a very clear process for changing it. Those changes are called Amendments, not judicial fiat.

With the left it isn’t just the constitution that is alive and changing but words themselves.

They constantly redefine words to push their agenda.

They’ve created their own dictionary.
