Nordstrom will no longer sell Ivanka Trump's clothing and accessories, the company announced Thursday. The Seattle-based department store chain said the decision was based on the sales performance of the first daughter's brand, The Seattle Times reported. The move comes amid a weekslong campaign known as "Grab Your Wallet," which has been calling for a boycott of retailers that carry Ivanka Trump or Donald Trump merchandise. In November, Nordstrom posted a response on Twitter to a shopper's letter calling for the company to stop selling the brand, saying, "We hope that offering a vendor's products isn't misunderstood as us taking a political position; we're not."

That right there is an admission of political position.
Has Walmart dropped their Black Lives Matter line of products yet? I know they claimed they did, but it turned out they only dropped one item from the line. Then they claimed they weren’t actually carrying the products, but BLM was selling the products through their website, as if Walmart has no control over who sells what on Walmart’s website.
Walmart keeps sending me emails, telling me they miss me. Aww!
The half the country that voted for Trump should now drop Nordstrom.
BOYCOTT Nordstrom!!

I just checked Walmart’s app, and they still have BLM merchandise for sale on their website. So I’m not done boycotting them yet.
Nordstrom just became a high priced Macy’s for us to boycott.
Maybe the rabid gays, who control highend women’s fashion need a smack down.
No loss here......I’m not impressed with that over-priced joint.......
Sums up it very well.
I guess Nordstrom doesn’t want our money. So be it.
If they ever shopped at Nordstrom's to begin with.
All the time retailers are dropping stuff that doesn’t sell.
I don’t remember them making a big political statement about it though.
They could have quietly discontinued the line if sales were bad.
IT’S ALL ABOUT POLITICS folks!!!
Seattle-based says a lot about the folks up there making “newsworthy” decisions.
Thanks, maybe it is time to reconsider Neimans.
Personally, I wear what is comfortable not stylish, but my daughter loves Ivanka’s line of shoes. She is thinking of saving up for a pair. They are pricey.
Forget Neimans. They acted like Nordstroms.
Nords went homo a few years ago. Their clothing line for men is nothing but homo fashion. I used to spend upwards of $5k a year at Nords, but I haven’t spent much of anything for at least 2 years because I am not a tight silk shirt wearing homo from the lounge lizard 70’s.
Nordstrom s was an excellent company. This makes me sick.
To be political like this is very unwise. Some wise pundit was just saying Trump’s opposition was wealthy white women
The irony that Ashley Judd wore a very valuable pearl necklace at the women’s screeching fest, Tucker Carlson estimated $40,000.00, is lost on them
Canceling credit card with them and telling them why
It is worse that they are sniveling and cowardly about it. Hoping to play both sides. Disgusting.
Everyone should take the time to send Nordstrom an email. Let them know how you feel.
I did so earlier. You have to dig a little on their website, at the bottom, under Contact Us. Eventually you’ll get a web form to submit a message.
Mine was:
My family and I will no longer be shopping at your stores in response to your petty politics.
Looking forward to seeing your stores close.
Have a nice day!
i emailed Nordie’s that if they don’t buy Ivanka, i don’t buy Nordie’s. then i ordered a pair of baby blue suede Ivanka pumps at Amazon Prime.
Nordstrom’s has carried excellent mens clothing, free and wonderful alterations/tailoring.
I have their Navy Blue blazers in Wool and Silk, and the west coast counterpart the Camel Hair blazer and in the silk version. I, also, have their wedding, funeral and get a loan 3 piece suit in Black and pin stripe. All are over 10 years old and still look great. Their top line cotton shirts never wear out for me.
Too bad for Nordstrom!
When one of our sons was a senior at a university, where long sleeve tee shirts were considered dressup, needed a sport coat for a video to help in seeking jobs. Sounds, easy, try buying a size 49-50 jacket and pants with a 30 inch waste. Nordstroms came through and sent the outfit from Seattle free of any shipping and handling charge. They compted his shirt and tie at our local store and shipped it free to his college apt. because they didn’t have the sport coat and slacks at the store. After graduation, he had a job interview in San Francisco, and we got a heads up that he needed a suit. We called Nordstrom’s home office. They had his sizes from the blazer, and they sent him the same 3 piece suit I had, altered to his size. He had their shirt from before and I loaned him my tie. He got the job.
