Theres a big new addition coming to Ikea stores next month. Its not a piece of furniture, and its definitely not edible. Its a city bike called Sladda.

If I am going to plop down that much it had better have a motor.
For a decent ebike you could easily add a thousand dollars.
Does it have auto speed shifting?
I like the seat though.
It’s an Obama bike.
You haven’t looked at bikes for a long, long time, have you?
Several experts (a co-worker’s husband being one, agreed) state you can get a good, solid pleasure bike for the $300-400 range. Cheaper is cheap, more is for specialists dead serious about road commuting.
Has brakes on both wheels, two speeds and to take care of the belt - you splash some water on it (never needs grease).
Belt is made in Germany btw.
“Does it have auto speed shifting?”
Nope. The people buying bikes at Wal-Mart are smarter than the average IKEA shopper and can shift their bike if needed.
Nice comment.
This is a build-it-yourself bike. At 33 lbs. the 26” version is not exactly lightweight. The frame is aluminum. The bike has a front disk brake and rear coaster brake. It has a “two-speed automatic” gear shifter, whatever that means. I did not find any reference to the total number of gears available, but I hope it is more than two.
Nice comment yourself.
Maybe I am not fluent in diagram, but I have never been able to assemble something from Ikea in the time they say.
The bike automatically shifts gear according to the speed it is going.
You’ll be Sladda on your Assa when those screw and cam lock fasteners start coming apart at 20 mph.
