“Yawn”....The Doomsday Clock has been set at 12:59 for so long, I’m pretty sure I recall both Red Skelton (Comic) and David Brinkley (Newsman) commenting about it. Both are remembered only in Black & White.
The Doomsday Clock was a close forerunner to Climate Change and Carcinongen (Alar) panics.
US News & World Report used to be the more conservative and business like of the three.

The doomsday clock is put out by a bunch of Marxists who happen to be scientists and self-name their publican the “Bulletin of Atomic Scientists”.
It should be known by its reality, which is that it is publication of a few atomic scientists who are Marxists/Left-leaning. No one should think they represent any majority of atomic scientists.
They kept publishing the same “getting closer to doomsday” stuff all while Reagan was in office.
What does it all mean? Diddly squat.
Maybe they’re measuring the number of liberal heads exploding everywhere, it’s better than July 4th fireworks. Every morning when I get up I pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming hahaha
