President Donald Trump met Monday at the White House with leaders of construction, carpenters, plumbers and sheet metal unions, the White House said.
According to the White House, participants included North America's Building Trades Unions President Sean McGarvey, Laborers' International Union of North America President Terry O'Sullivan, SMART sheet metal workers' union President Joseph Sellers, United Brotherhood of Carpenters President Doug McCarron and Mark McManus, president of the United Association that represents plumbers, pipefitters, welders and others.
The union meeting also included several local union officials and follows a gathering of 12 chief executives of large companies at the White House to discuss revitalizing the U.S. manufacturing economy....

They are noting their appreciation for the respect he showed them by having this meeting and are pledging to work with him. Do you understand how huge this is? If we pull just a small fraction of union support from dems, they are done. Kaput. Trump is well on his way to doing this by putting America first and not selling out true conservative principles. Amazing first day.
This is absolutely unbelievable, coming on the heels of the Teamsters’ endorsement of pulling out of TPP.
Keep in mind my premise that the whole “debate” about crowd size is a mere diversion from the real developments behind the scenes, like this.

Wow, I can't remember ANY union leader talking like this before. You're right, if Trump continues to handle these guys properly, he will get their respect and cooperation in return and these guys will kiss off the Democrats.
