For decades in Congress, John Lewis opposed every piece of criminal justice or welfare reform legislation that would make the people of his district safer, more self-reliant, and more prosperous
For nearly 20 years, I lived in Congressman John Lewis (D) district in southeast Atlanta, most of those years in a tiny house I bought for $19,000. My neighborhood, Boulevard Heights, was then a poor community in the shadow of the federal prison where Cuban criminals from the Mariel boatlifts famously rioted in 1987. I moved to Boulevard Heights a few years after the riots but heard the stories.
John Lewis has a day of reckoning coming. It ain’t going to go well with him if he keeps projecting a hateful view of his opponents. TOLERANCE my man, tolerance. Go eat some crow, and take a little humble pie. EVERYONE will love you for it.
You said the right word: RECKONING
EXCELLENT post.
PRIDE is the first and the worst of the Catholic-phrased seven deadly sins. See Adam and Eve.
Itz all bout ziggin and zaggin. Dats awl.
John Lewis lied and claimed Trump’s inauguration would be the first he has missed.
John Lewis also boycotted Bush’s inauguration because he claimed Bush was “illegitimate”.
John Lewis has called the past two Republican presidents “illegitimate”.
Seems he must get mileage out of denouncing the country’s choice for President when it isn’t a Democrat.
John Lewis is a liar.
Great article. Thx for posting it.
The Democrat strategy is now crystal clear — foment as much racial fear, resentment and hatred as possible. By using the worthless “civil rights” bell cow and conspicuous stooge, John Lewis in an attempt to de-legitimize Donald Trump’s presidency, they’re desperately hoping to keep struggling blacks on the Democrat plantation.
Democrats generally, and black Democrats specifically are responsible for herding poor blacks into inner-city ghettos for the sole purpose of creating trans-generational government dependency. In doing so, they’ve cultivated a monolithic black Democrat voting block, which they’ve abused since the 1960’s to maintain power and control.
Their greatest fear, which is now obvious, is that President Trump will make good on his promise to eradicate inner-city crime, create jobs, improve education, stop the wholesale slaughter and restore dignity, quality of life, independence and hope to black families that existed prior to LBJ’s culturally destructive “Great Society” welfare laws of 1964.
They and their lackeys in the FakeStream media know that if their monolithic black voting block is dismantled (for all the right reasons) and dignity and prosperity is restored to all black communities, and blacks are finally freed from this politically motivated oppression -— the Democrats and their party will never win another election.
Lewis is a 100% racist.
I would not drive through John Lewis dist in broad daylight.

Nor would John Lewis if he had to do it without an armed escort.
Lewis is a product of mythology
A civil rights God
All bullshit
I’ve been beaten by cops....twice
Where’s my medal?
John Lewis is just saying what a lot of liberals are thinking.
The Democrats fear that their 50-year 90%+ monopoly of the Black Voter, is in jeopardy.
The Democrats fear that LBJ’s 200-year prediction, after signing the Great Society, may end at only 50+ years.
The Democrats fear that Trump is going to take a big slice of the Black Vote, during his term in office, which would affect 2018 Congressional elections and Trump’s reelection in 2020.
The Democrats know that they need their solid 90%+ of the Black vote, just to be competitive.
If not, the Democrats, know, as a party, that they will be in permanent minority status.
This is a fight for the survival of the Democrat Party and they will do and say anything, to keep that intact.
But John Lewis is a civil rights icon...
(So is Jesse Jackson and we know all about his character.)
Looks like Congressman John Lewis may be another one on the take must have a lot of freezer money.
So he is in effect an illegitimate leader.
bkmk
