John Lewis actually did do a significant thing, as a young man a long time ago, in my hometown.

It was a more significant thing than I’ve ever done and he does deserve respect for having done it.

On the other hand, I don’t believe it’s a carte blanch to lie about other people, and I do think that as far as being carried along for your entire career on the strength of one great deed, Lewis probably sets a record. But again, I see no reason to crap on his deed.

John Lewis has a deck of cards and every one of them is the race card. Lewis lives in a very black-and-white perspective during a 1040p Hi Def color world.

Planned Parenthood Award Winner: 1966
The Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sparked the conscience of the nation as he courageously and selflessly gave direction to the early civil rights movement in the United States. Resisting bigotry, inspiring women and men worldwide, and advancing social justice and human dignity, he also lent his eloquent voice to the cause of worldwide voluntary family planning. Both he and Margaret Sanger challenged unjust laws, cruel social customs, and blind prejudice that still hold people in ignorance, poverty, and despair. Mrs. Coretta Scott King delivered her husband’s acceptance speech on his behalf, saying, “There is a striking kinship between our movement and Margaret Sanger’s early efforts. … Our sure beginning in the struggle for equality by non-violent direct action may not have been so resolute without the tradition established by Margaret Sanger and people like her.”

Selma, Alabama, Bloody Sunday, March 7, 1965:

Under the orders of a democrat governor 150 Alabama state troopers, sheriff ’s deputies, and posse-men,
most if not all democrats themselves, order demonstrators to disperse.

After a two-minute warning they advance, wielding clubs, and tear gas.

John Lewis suffered a skull fracture in the melee.

He then joins the party of his oppressors and becomes a lifelong democrat himself.

He dedicates his life to fighting republicans who opposed the democrat brutality back in 1965.
