Fake Issues: Races, Sexes, and Classes

It's been said in a proverb that even a mighty river can be easily crossed if you can split it enough times and then simply walk over each piece.

The left has used this strategy against a 'mighty river' of Americans. They have also employed another political strategy and that is to create a common enemy.

Using this allows them to first divide Americans up so that they are weak when the left wants to walk over them, but then strong when the left reunites some of those divisions to use against another division.

In order to divide people, the left has to convince certain groups that other groups have it better, hate them, or are actively attempting to harm them or keep them down.

The final bow on the package is for the left to preach unity. Slogans such as "Stronger Together" come to mind. The underlying truth of the slogan, used by the Hillary Clinton Campaign, could be something like "Stronger Together Against Anyone Who Is Not Us." This is seen by the light of another slogan they used, "I'm With Her."

Drawing as much attention as possible to Hillary Clinton's sex was an attempt to collect on one of their divisions. Convince women that having a female president matters more than issues that actually affect them. It was an easy way to give a division a common enemy - men. And Hillary's opponent was a man. With every bumper sticker that said, "I'm with HER," the division was reinforced and the Pied Piper played to bring as many as possible to vote based upon genitalia.

Thus the left has been able to create fake issues. Instead of high taxation, globalist trade deals that served to cut America down to size, policies regarding terrorism, or regulations that cost jobs, the left puts focus on an issue created by a division of their own making.

The division sees victory in electing someone "of their kind." All the while accusing the common enemy of being the one who is divisive.

And those other divisions, such as race and economic class, are already united for the left, also on invented issues that do not affect them. As though any politician has proposed legislation that takes away rights from a specific race or gives them to a specific race. Tax decreases count equally for all races. Better stewardship by the government of our money counts equally for all races as does better border security, less government interference in our lives and other issues.

Democrats and their leftist allies can't win on the real issues. So they attempt to create animosity from racial, gender, and economic differences. They have to distract from the actual issues and harp on the ones created by their efforts to turn us against each other.

The tide, however, seems to be turning. Douglas Wilson famously said, "A racist is anyone who is winning a debate with a democrat." Current times seem to suggest the left has overplayed their hand. Enough people have taken note that when the left feels they are losing on an issue, anyone who brings up that issue is called a racist. It's become obvious to people who might have been fooled in the past.

The lesson to be learned from Trump, like him or not, is that he didn't back down from consistently pointing out the real issues even amid accusations of racism, which the left thought was their trump card.

The message of liberty and a government that answers to the people will win if we refuse to back off of the real issues. We must not be distracted by divisions, made up issues, or bogus claims of racism designed to shut us up and villainize us.

Most libertarians and conservatives are good people, so when we are accused of being a "racist" for focusing on an important issue that has nothing to do with race, we often back down and stop talking about it because we don't want to be seen as racist. The left knows this and that's why they toss out the "racism" accusation so often.

Enough people see through it now. We need to unite on the issues instead of skin color, net worth, sex or even personalities. The real racists and sexists want us divided on that basis but if we stay focused on the real issues, we will further unmask them and make them more irrelevant.

Liberals are the ones who divide us in every way imaginable. They obsess about our differences. Yet they'll call people racist who disagree with them on a non-race issue. Can't let them shut us up.

“Convince women that having a female president matters more than issues that actually affect them.”

Hey, it worked with blacks and Obama. Why not?

This is not just liberals who use this tactic. I’ve seen political use many times. Dividing people for budget concerns most often. Retired from Active duty, retired from active teachers, ceos from the masses...it just isn’t a new tactic.

You’re right, it’s not new. The left just seems to use it as their predominant strategy.
