My lower was mis-shipped... Should have been done TODAY, but Christmas will wait a week

The second one I bought was made from scrapped rifle parts from the military. The bullets hit the target sideways and it was put together by SGW.. Looked great but was junk. That was thirty four years ago when the first anti-rifle laws were suggested.(”We ONLY want to register and ban Handguns! Rifles will not be affected!”)
All the others (Colt) I have owned have been good as have been the non AR-15s like my AR-180 and Ruger mini-14.
My friends bought early Bushmasters which were super accurate but the frames were poorly cast. Later Bushmasters appear to be great.
My friends have put 10’s of thousands of rounds down range in Bushmasters.
Not one single misfire. Ever.

I have both and prefer the AK better reliability and ballistics than AR. But in the case of the AR in a shtf event there would be plenty of ammo and parts here in the States.
Agreed. The Wylde chamber selection is a great place to start as far as I am concerned.

When they get 57 uppers (pistol or rifle) back in stock I might do another build. Looking at the IWI X95 with serious lust in my old eyes.
I was gonna build a .22lr A2 front sight with a mid-length handguard, no gas tube (would add an Adams Arms mid piston later), but I found M&P 15-22s at a super price so just went that route. Super little rifles, BTW.

I have a Smith & Wesson MP-15. I also have a YHM with a Tactical Solutions AR-22 upper. And I have a Century Arms AR-15 that is surprisingly accurate and reliable.
A friend has one. I’m amazed at the slop between upper and lower.
Both mine are tight, almost "too" tight. Accurate as all heck the both of them.
I’d like to get an M&P 15-22 one day, about six months ago a guy next to me had one at the range and let me try it on bumpfire, it was terrific...
You guys all know that in the AR15 world there are about 5 or 6 makers of upper and lower receivers and major parts like Bolts/carriers etc, and other than a few major in house makers ( the more costly ones), two or thee OEM barrel makers ( Mossberg and Wilson, green mountain, come to mind) then the brand name folks simply screw them all together and box them up for you, right?
