Friday evening Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin sounded the alarm on the growing “Putin wing” of the Republican Party.
China is on the move, having seized a U.S. underwater drone in the South China Sea. And there are members of the Republican party, the “Code Pink Republicans,” Levin said, that would appease the Chinese in the face of this aggression.
“We now have a group in the Republican party that embraces George McGovern’s foreign policy!” Levin said.

“You see appeasement, isolationism, passivity in the face of evil … [which] results in more provocations as they [China] continue to test the outside limits of what it is that they want to do,” Levin explained.

On the one hand, there are voices pushing to avoid conflict with the Chinese. On the other hand, there are Establishment and pro-Putin Republicans pushing for the nomination of Rex Tillerson as secretary of State, a man who is soft on Putin. The Republican party seems to be going soft on our enemies.
"I'm embarrassed to see a Putin wing in the Republican party,” Levin said.

I believe that you and far too many Americans are locked into the Cold War mindset. When you look at the things China's been doing, their huge population pressures, their economic expansion, their desire for more territory, then you have to know that Russia is not feeling very secure with empty, resource-rich Siberia sitting on top of those crazy people.
Russia needs us more than we need them and would make a great ally.
I think Russia would rather have an ally in the United States someday rather than Iran. What is it that Russian mobsters and ruling class like most all? Money. Who has more of it the US or Iran? People also need to realize that Donald Trump is extremely popular with the Russian people. Putin is very much a populist who cares about popular opinion.
Putin is a KGB communist dictator thug thru and thru. Dont fall for his pro-Christianity front. He is not to be trusted. We should not be cozying up to him nor the Red Chinese. Not that I think Trump has any love for the Chinese. I don’t like the cozying up to the Russians. We shall see what happens.

35 years ago and he was an underling. I did meaningful things earlier in my career that are nice to talk about but largely irrelevant to my life today. Levin is simply an obnoxious jerk with a dwindling fan base. It’s sad seeing so many here still hold him in high regard.

Levin is a typically bully. Sits behind the microphone all night and denounces everyone who doesn’t agree with his view of the world. Yet he’s really a coward because he’s never risked anything for his precious causes and beliefs. Unlike Trump who has risked his life, fortune and sacred honor, just like Levin’s heroes who founded this country. Levin is a small and petty man who is not worthy of consideration, discussion and serious analysis. A raving lunatic well beyond the fringe.

Who says we got to be their ally? We can work with Russia on areas we both have in common. But why antagonize them? Death to America Iran is their BFF.
They're about as much as a BFF to Russia as Saudi Arabia is to us.
Yeah, so? We allied with the likes of Josef Stalin, for crying out loud. We're currently friends with absolute hideous regimes like Saudi Arabia and just now restored relations with Cuba. Nobody is calling for us to get in bed with the Russians. Just work with them on areas both nations have in common and leave them the Hell alone.
