There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.

Christian charity is a good thing.

Having a strong central government take all your stuff because other people need it more — and throwing you into a gulag is you complain — well, that’s ... not Christian charity.

So, you’re saying that the Federal Government, when it confiscates taxes from workers and uses them without consent to fund lawsuits against Christians, as well as abortions and transgender surgeries, is the moral equivalent of believers laying funds at the feet of the Apostles?
