Bolton opposed Millennium Development Goals. Good.
They were an unrealistic leftist wish list, unmoored from cause and effect polices to achieve them, that would scuttle society trying to save it. Mainly hand the US the bill for the rest of the world to live better.
For example:
- Eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education, preferably by 2005, and in all levels of education no later than 2015 (I guess that timeframe would require the West to pay)
- Integrate the principles of sustainable development into country policies and programs and reverse the loss of environmental resources (Energy use per $1 GDP, Carbon dioxide emissions per capita, etc., etc.)
- Deal comprehensively with the debt problems of developing countries through national and international measures.
- cancellation of official bilateral debt, and more generous official development assistance for countries committed to poverty reduction.
Hmmm...the author describes a diplomate who is loyal to his country and hostile to the u n.
Those make him a good choice for the job.
He has all the right enemies so I am all for him.

I like no-compromise people. They understand principle and eschew the idea that all choices must be grey.
If one person offers you poison and the other offers you food, do you eat a little of both in the interests of “compromise” ?

Why does the truth always have to be covered over to ease it’s digestion, the truth is the truth. No one has done more to offend our friends and partners on the world stage than Obama and the democrats. The UK, Israel, even Canada and everyone else that at one time we could count on. John stud up to the corruptions of the UN leaders and members, he made waves, too bad. You want to change the coarse where on, then you need good strong leaders. Isn’t that why Trump won, isn’t Trump like Bolton in his boldness and willing to take actions. George W.
