Pro-Life Ted Cruz brokering Trump deal for Supreme Court
TruNews ^ | December 12, 2016

A deal is being brokered for Senator Ted Cruz to fill a Supreme Court vacancy in exchange for a pro-Trump replacement in his Texas seat.

•Source: “A deal” is being cut which would see Cruz nominated on the condition that a pro-Trump Republican could be found to replace him in the Senate.
•Unclear whether Cruz would be immediately nominated to replace Justice Antonin Scalia.
•Cruz was not on Trump’s list of potential Supreme Court picks vetted by Federalist Society.
•Cruz is currently publicly planning to run for re-election in 2018.
•Source: Privately he's ready and willing to become a Supreme Court Justice.
•Alan Dershowitz on Cruz: “One of the best students I ever had.”
•Source: Cruz is widely praised as a legal scholar and orator, but is disliked by Senate colleagues.

(FRESNO, CA) Texas Senator Ted Cruz is set to be nominated for a position on the Supreme Court by President-elect Donald J. Trump if current trends hold, a source close to the process tells GotNews.

The source told GotNews that “a deal” is being cut which would see Cruz nominated to the Supreme Court on the condition that a pro-Trump Republican could be found to replace Ted Cruz in the Senate.

It is unclear whether Cruz would be immediately nominated to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, who died earlier this year, or if his nomination would come later. While Cruz was not on Trump’s list of potential Supreme Court picks, he undoubtedly fits the bill as a staunch conservative constitutionalist.

Cruz, who won his Texas Senate seat in 2012, is publicly planning to run for re-election in 2018. Privately, it seems he’s ready and willing to become a Supreme Court Justice.

Ted Cruz was Donald Trump’s earliest ally and final foe in the Republican presidential primaries. He has steadily reconciled with Trump since the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July earlier this year.

Cruz has been described by his former law professor and world-famous lawyer Alan Dershowitz as “one of the best students I ever had.” Cruz is widely praised as a legal scholar and orator, despite being notoriously disliked among his Senate colleagues.

That dislike may make a Cruz confirmation very easy in the Senate.

The wording is accurate and appropriate. Not only for creepy Ted himself, but every crypto communist who stuck with Ted when he blamed the Chicago attack by hard leftists on the people they atracked.

Ted was my initial pick but after that sociopathic filth I am done with him permanently.

I can’t imagine having to hear that repellent man’s name ever again. Even though some chose to ignore it, many many posters posted numerous examples of his dishonesty and dishonor. He showed his true colors time and again during the campaign, and again at the Republican Convention. When someone show you who they are, believe them.

We the People deserve a SC justice who has integrity and honor. Cruz has shown all who have eyes to see, that he has neither quality.

DJT promised us that he would choose someone from his published list. DJT is a man of honor. He will fulfill his pledge.

I agree with your assessment of Cruz.

While Cruz may not be overall “smarter” than Trump, however, Cruz’s skills re the Constitution are much superior to most people, including Trump.

“He’s a sociopath but, dammit, he’s OUR sociopath.”

Not mine, lol.

He’s an unindicted felony fraudster. Signing an affidavit that he was a natural born Citizen of the United States. Grandiose delusions so compelling that he ran in an American Presidential race as a first term junior senator from Canada.

He was a dual citizen .. WHAT IS IT ABOUT THIS THAT YOU PEOPLE DON’T GET - HIS MOTHER WAS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN - AND THAT AUTOMATICALLY MADE HIM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN.

GET OVER IT.!!

No, not at all.

When are you going to wake up and face the fact, that twee Teddykins is just out for himself, doesn't give three spits in the wind about the Constitution, if it doesn't mesh with his agenda, and isn't what you still believe he is?

Like Roberts, the TRAITOR? Well Teddykins is even WORSE!

I am NOT the stupid one. Cruz is the stupid one, pretending to be somebody that he is NOT. Ted Cruz will never ever be a ‘natural born’ US citizen and he knows it.. but, because Obama got away with it, he feels ‘naturally’ entitled to the same. He is NOT fit to be a judge.

No they aren't!

Out of the 6 little cases he pleaded before the SCOTUS, he won.....................just TWO and that is a lousy record.

He3 doesn't give a DAMN about the Constitution; it's just a ploy, an act, a LIE you swallowed as whole cloth.

Given that it’s the Senate, they might turn that into a requirement.
