If I am a CEO I must work within the law. Thus if the government is importing cheap labor I have to go along even if I don’t like it. The other option is to close down. I’m not sure he’s reversed himself so much as it is that now he can express how he really feels

Good point: now that he knows he has moral support from Donald Trump, he can follow what might have been his personal druthers even though the corporate world was baying for him to either go the cheap imported labor route or else be punished in the near term market.

This might also be the case for Mike Pence. Weak at times in his position as Indiana governor, he sings a more confident song with Donald Trump and the cast that Donald Trump is assembling, at his back.

From all that I've read about Puzder in the last few days, he has not simply been a business leader going along with the availability of cheap immigrant labor. Instead, he has been a forceful advocate for the illegal-immigrant excuse that there are jobs Americans are not willing to do, and also a forceful advocate for amnesty. In other words, he sounds like his views on immigration are much more in line with Jeb Bush's than Trump's.
Hopefully he will serve as Labor Secretary with the goal of preserving jobs for Americans and expanding the job market for Americans.

Reading his entire statement, that’s exactly what he’s saying.

Your putrid globalist hyperbole is really hard to take. I just went to a MC Donald's yesterday and not one illegal alien in the place. Everyone spoke English perfectly and was either white or black. So without illegals the ONLY option for Carl's Jr is to go out of business?
YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY OR SHAME.

We actually had CEO’s who made American workers train their foreign replacements before the Americans were fired.

Horse manure. That’s just an excuse used to commit illegal activities and pad the bottom line a bit. And essentially commit treason.
American citizens first. We can still be part of a global economy and we should be; but our nations interests first.
