Democrats should definitely run on this in the 2018 mid-terms.
Higher electricity prices, higher food prices, higher gas prices, (hey, bring back Gore’s 50 cent per gallon gas tax),
turn your thermostat down in the winter (freeze) and up in the summer (sweat), etc. And don’t forget to push for special rights for transgenders and any other perversion that might be in vogue.
Sounds like a winning platform to me. Run with it Democrats.

It’s NOT a far-fetched idea folks. I pay taxes on food in my state, and also in another state I lived in. As far as I’m concerned, it should be criminal to charge taxes on food! We also pay meal taxes when we go out to eat, and we pay taxes on everything else we purchase also.
