PBS host Tavis Smiley reacted to Donald Trump’s presidential victory, telling MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell on Wednesday that America “showed its true colors.”
“What I saw last night was not red, white and blue as [President Barack Obama] would have us believe from his remarks earlier today,” Smiley said. “Love and justice lost last night. Hatred and revenge won last night.”
Smiley, who was a strong opponent to Trump and his racism, went on to say that the president-elect wasn’t the only winner. Racism, sexism, classism and militarism won, too, he argued.

I guess identity politics isn’t supposed to be for everyone. Too bad, because it’s here. Sorry it had to be this way, but people like Tavis and the writer of this piece made it inevitable.

I would honestly say that 90% of Blacks are about the most Racist Vile Humans you will ever meet. 90% voted in lockstep with Obama, simply because he was half black.

Tavis is a very angry and hateful man.
Tavis is a racist hatemonger from way back. Talks a middle road game when interviewing non-blacks but is filled with hatred for White People that vomits up on occasion.
That is the real racism. They are in get whitey mode.
So I’m confused. The same electorate that elected Obama twice and then rejected a white woman is somehow “racist”. This seems delusional. Maybe it had more to do with the economic devastation to the middle class caused bad trade agreements negotiated by global elitist politicians that don’t really like America that much.
The spin and manipulation is dizzying.
Only in the delusional fog of the liberal mind could the words “Love and justice” be used to describe Hillary or another Clinton administration.
That’s why the writer’s commie friends leave bloody tampons around and block traffic.
