I’m frequently disappointed when I expect the best in others and often correct when I expect the worst.

As am I. I can only hope, because I want to believe that there are still patriots embedded in these alphabet agencies who might stand up for the truth. But maybe my belief is misplaced. Maybe we Freepers are just like those Jap soldiers holding out for years on some remote S. Pacific island, not understanding that the war was lost long ago. Hope springs eternal, as the aphorism goes.
