Rattlesnakes can be dangerous and Terrifying
Rattlesnakes are common in certain states others are not. Some like them, some don't, if you encounter one and need to dispose of it. Meet Neal Hunt, he demonstrates the correct, easy, and ethical way to do so. Neal explains its the best way to dispose of one, see the video below.
That man bravely picked up the disturbed rattler and snapped it like a bull whip.
The snake dies instantly from the neck break and loses its mobility or any natural body twitch like a bite.
Sometimes if the head is severed, the snake can still bite and the venom will still cause damage. If you are looking to save the skin for a pair of new boots or a cool taxidermy mount, this method allows the snake to remain in good shape.
Although this works very well, we encourage you to just walk the other way and not risk being bit by the snake. See the video here, how many of you brave souls have tried this?
How does this man fit his balls into his pants?
No, no, no. You should wait until the snake bites you or tries to bite you. Otherwise, it's not fair to the poor snake. /s
Nothing new. People have been snapping snakes by grabbing them by the tail and popping off the heads for centuries. My grandfather told me of a kid who popped the head off his bull snake in the basement. Grandpa kept it there to keep mice down.
I fail to see why that snake needed to be killed.
And they taste good.
I agree with you on not killing without a need.....except for rattlers. What the hell is wrong with you?
You are right, shame on me, thoughtless and cruel. Rattle snakes have rights too!
“I fail to see why that snake needed to be killed.”
Because it was a rattler. Code of the west.
Well, we don’t really have rattlers around here, so I guess I’m just not worried enough about one killing me, maybe if I could step out into my yard and be bitten by one my attitude would change, at least I’m honest? Do I get let back in for that?
The guy was hungry.
You are readmitted. Those things are awful.
How about dinner? Rattler is pretty good eatin’!
I’ve heard rattlesnake is pretty tasty
Sort of a cross between chicken and shrimp
It is. Par-boil it first to remove the oils, cut it into 3-4 inch lengths, then lightly brown it in butter with a little salt and pepper. Mmmm...!
If youre out in the wild and stumble upon one there is no need to kill it. Didnt watch his video but not into killing things because you can.
Ummm...tastes like chicken!
They are around up here. I use a different method to deal with the problem....
Wow, you really got me, I’m so angry ....
