Dragging Bill Clinton back into this won't work because his voters aren't being targeted. In fact, Democrats are standing on the sidelines laughing their asses off as they feign outrage. No, this is aimed squarely at Trump voters and people leaning Trump. This is what we need to realize and how we need to fight it.
The way we fight it is to say, "Yeah, Trump has an off-color sense of humor. So what?" Unfortunately, it is fellow GOPers who are clutching their pearls, running to their fainting couches and making a big deal out of this.
