It’s time for an end to representative democracy and a beginning to benign, patriotic, and authoritarian rule. Minorities have rights, we’ve been fed up to our gills with that. But Majorities Rule, and that’s the side of the equation that has been lacking for a while.

Why is this shocking? There is a government in place that has a very open-borders immigration policy and has let in thousands upon thousands of unvetted muslims both due to the syrian refugee thing and prior to it. On the other hand there is a party in the minority that says "that's a bad idea, and a dangerous one". But they have no power to stop it and are mocked and ridiculed as the dangerous ones.

Thus is layed out the chessboard. So what did the think would happen when the muslims started killing frenchmen and frenchwomen in random terror attacks? Did they think they'd rally around the government that put that stupid policy in place and is now defending it? Or would they say "enough" and maybe begin to think the anti-immigrant policy had a point all along?

Seems like the response was and is obvious.
