Actor Isaiah Washington is calling on African-Americans to protest the recent killings of black men by police in a very different way.

Washington took to Facebook on Tuesday to suggest that African-Americans across the United States boycott showing up for work on Monday to show that black lives matter in the wake of recent police brutality.

"Imagine if every single African American in the United States that was really fed up with being angry, sad and disgusted, would pick ONE DAY to simply 'stay at home' from every single job, work site, sports arena and government office in the United States of America," he wrote to his thousands of followers.

"I'm very sure that within 72 hours from Wall Street to the NFL...Black Lives Would Matter. September 26, 2016 is THE DAY," the former "Grey's Anatomy" star continued....

Are they really this dumb? They’d be replaced by invader labor. That would justify the invaders staying in the US and forever reduce blacks to a worse-than-slavery situation.

Long ago, actors were considered such a lowly and degrading profession that they were not allowed Christian burial. They were laid to rest far outside of town in their own cemetery, if it could even be called that.

Maybe there was something to that.

I’ll take Washington’s nonsense request from the opposite perspective. I work with a number of African Americans who go to work every day, pay their bills, send their kids to college and just want to live in clean, safe neighborhoods. They want exactly what everyone else wants. And, most importantly, they want absolutely nothing to do with Black Lives Matter. I suspect that a large number of working, middle class blacks don’t agree with BLM.

In ancient Rome actors were considered the same class as prostitutes. Romans got a few things right.

They should try boycotting the police. Dont give the police any business. No robbing, no drug dealing, no shootings, etc etc..

Oh, if only.

This will be a gimme for employers who are afraid to fire minorities. Refusal to work will make it easy to give them the pink slip and hand the job to more respectful employees.

"...Imagine if all Black actors refused to work for the next 4 years

There wouldn’t be anyone on television..."

But but but, who'd play the President of the United States? All movies depict Morgan Freeman as prez as if there's a law.

Oh wait: in "London Has Fallen" he played the Veep. My bad.
