In 1967an iconic time of black riots, burning cities, looting, and political murderthreats of yet another senseless riot were made against Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Once called the City of Brotherly Love, Philly had become a hateful playground for violent, black militants, communists, power-pushers, and carpet-baggers from all over the uninformed, disinformed, and mis-led, radical, liberal landscape.
Please can we get our terms understood?.
Protests are people thinking they can get a point across by disruption.
Riots are the acts of criminals murdering, stealing, terrorizing.
Neither accomplishes anything until the people who can change or alter the situation in question, get together and figure if it’s wrong and how to fix it.
This is what separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom. We have the ability to reason. But on this topic, not to ability to use it reasonably.

Appears that some folks just have a rioting and looting gene in their DNA.
1968. The year I stopped using a single action revolver and bought a Browning Hi-Power. Reason, riots.
1968 was the year I bought a 20” slug barrel for my Remington 870. ‘68 was a lot worse than 2016 (so far).
I am reminded of an old Arizona ranger who said why he was always armed with a handgun. “You don’t need it until you need it. And when you need it you NEED IT!”
