Several days ago CNN and other major media outlets published stories on Jesse Morton (fka Younus Abdullah Muhammad), a former Al Qaeda-allied American jihadi who went to jail for threatening the lives of South Park's co-creators over an episode in which they depict Muhammad in a bear suit, only to emerge from prison years early as a supposedly "reformed," "deradicalized" voice for peace now working to "counter" jihadis at a George Washington University counterterror think tank.
In the press reports around Morton, there was little evidence indicating that Morton explicitly rejected the Islamic supremacist, Sharia ideology to which he adhered. Nor was it evident that Morton had renounced his faith, which the overwhelming majority of ex-jihadis have done (think Hirsi Ali), as did ex-Communists during the Cold War (think Whittaker Chambers).
It turns out based on some now scrubbed writings Morton published in 2015 at the now-defunct IslamPolicy.com (the successor website to his disbanded Islamic supremacist advocacy group "Revolution Muslim") that as of a year ago Morton still seemed to believe in spreading Sharia over the world, and advocates ending the American counterterrorism apparatus altogether.
That exposé is here.
Radical Islamists will lie to further their cause. Lying and misrepresenting are approved tactics. It is in their creed.
Why is he out of prison when he threatened the lives of two Americans? Oh wait, this is Obamaland, where Islamists are not held accountable.
It’s been shut down for almost 8 years now , D’oh
Reform = Taqiyya.
