Somewhere in the private family quarters of the White House today, President Barack Obama will observe a moment of silence for the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

We learn this not from the Washington Post or the New York Times but from The Guardian in Britain.

“Obama will mark Sunday’s anniversary of 9/11 by observing a moment of silence in the privacy of the White House residence at 8.46am ET, when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. He will then deliver remarks at a Pentagon memorial service.” (Guardian.com, Sept. 10, 2016)

Actually, I’m overjoyed by his choice. For him to waltz in to an auditorium of people that mostly don’t care what he says, to read the cue cards of lies that fall out his mouth that isn’t genuine in feelings as he doesn’t care enough to make his thoughts public, so the media will have to go on damage control for him either way, is saving a lot of time, frustration, anger at him, and because it’s international now, another embarrassment to the world about our country’s choice how to respect heroes, when the whole dam thing is to try to get votes by showing how compassionate the libs are, is truly one of the smartest things he has ever done. I won’t applaud him, but it does cut back the tally of lies he has told. Wish he’d have done something like this starting in 2008.
