Hillary admits upping med ‘load’ to combat coughing fits

Hillary Clinton says she is working to combat coughing fits like the two that occurred yesterday by increasing her antihistamine intake.

Clinton was addressing reporters aboard her campaign plane today when she said used the "allergies" defense, and said they flare up in the spring and fall.

"Are you on any meds or anything like that?" she was asked.

“I just upped my antihistamine load to try to break through it,” she responded, according to the New York Times. (The Times omitted "load" from its quotation, but she clearly says it in the video.)

The cough was killin me but, the cure damn near wrecked me...

I have seasonal allergies, I don't cough but I know some do, but they didn't "show up" one day, I have had them all my life.

She must not be experiencing any tightness in her chest or trouble breathing with these attacks or that would be a genuine medical emergency.

My allergies can lead to a strong upper respiratory infection. Once it goes that far it invariably needs an antibiotic to clear up. I’m not a doctor but I know I can’t determine exactly what is wrong with a person by listening to them cough.

Having watched her coughing fits, I’m certainly suspicious as to the cause, and I’m a bit surprised she tried to give a major speech without warning her audience she might have a problem, or maybe cancelling. It was an awful attempt at rolling out her post Labor Day campaign.

I went to the ER with a wicked cough in college. The doc wrote me a prescription for a giant bottle of robitussin with codeine. Those were the days!

Yeah, it stopped the cough... Made me feel great, too! Lol!
