Lower back, and the pain goes all the way to his foot. His other side is weak from a stroke, so he’s confined to bed most of the time, until he can get some relief.
I didn’t realize it would hurt worse before it gets better. *sigh*
Lower back, and the pain goes all the way to his foot. His other side is weak from a stroke, so hes confined to bed most of the time, until he can get some relief. It was only a few days for me, and they told me usually it is just the day after that it's worse. Well worth it.I didnt realize it would hurt worse before it gets better. *sigh*
Also, if you haven't already, look into a TENS device, It is a small, inexpensive, device that administers small electrical impulses to the area on which you place it. The nerve signals this triggers have priority in the brain over the pain signals, so your brain doesn't notice the pain. For me, the back issue caused transfered pain in my knee, similar to your husbands pain in his foot. I put this thing on my knee and it gave me some relief from the pain. A real godsend. You can buy one at any major drugstore, Walgreens or whatever, for about $25
