Good thing it didn’t happen in GB, I heard they don’t arm their police force with guns.
From what I understand there’s a special force that has firearms whereas the regular beat cop (whatever they call them there) do not.
Normal Bobby on the beat, no, but “armed police” are more common these days. If you see a police car that has red stripes on it, this means the officer is armed.
