You see, in government you don’t have to actually set up a retirement fund, you just promise them a retirement amount that you will get from that year’s tax revenue.

See? It’s like you come to work for me, and I promise you a retirement, but I dont sick any money in the bank- I just tell you I will give it to you from MY income the years you reire.

And hope like heck you don’t live that long.

Before buying a house in Michigan, think there is about a ~$8,000 government lien on it to pay local governmental pensions.
