In an interview with the editorial board of The Miami Herald, Sen. Marco Rubio talked about his decision to run for another term in the Senate, his bid for the presidency and a potential Donald Trump presidency. Rubio said he stood by remarks he made during his presidential campaign, including calling Trump a 'con man.'

"I do believe whoever wins the presidency you're going to have to have a Senate willing to confront bad ideas from the White House," Rubio said. "And in the U.S. Senate race in Florida, I am the only one running who has proved and said that they will act as a check and balance on whoever the president is even if it is a president from my own party."

That was what I thought Cruz would say at the RNC in Cleveland. To reassure conservatives that he (Ted Cruz) would bring the Trump presidency towards more conservative friendly direction. Until Cruz tried the too smart by his own good 'vote for your conscience' gambit.

Now Little Marco is trying the 'reasonable one' route. The fact is I do not trust him, personally. But his mileage may vary amongst other Republicans/conservatives.
