I do my part to keep the earth in check.
I let my faucet go extra couple of gallons.
I keep my car running for extra couple of minutes.
I still have half of my lights using incandescent bulbs.
I keep my lights on all night.

It probably cost me a couple of bucks extra per day, but it is worth it.

If “mother” earth had “her” way, humans would all be dead. We TAME earth and EAT animals. They are there to serve that purpose.

Earth Overshoot Day, previously known as Ecological Debt Day

If we lived according to the nonsensical limits concocted by environmental groups as being "sustainable", we'd be cooking over dung fires, wearing clothing made of skins and we'd travel as far as our feet could take us. Human history and progress are driven by people who looked to new horizons and opportunities, not to neurotics fretting relentlessly about imagined limits.

That’s funny because in 1971 they said we were using up all the food and oil and would never see 1980.

well, you can thank Al Gore, the POTUS and all the Hollywood celebs who are “for the environment”

They’ve used up our entire allotment trying to save the planet.

*snicker*

Unfortunately there's a whole new millennial generation to lie to and who's eager to soak the BS up.

Speaking of millenniums, were you invited to Neuman’s next Millennium party?

as the World Wildlife Fund pointed out

It's kind of funny, but WWF had a heckuva lot more credibility and integrity when it stood for World Wrestling Federation.

"Earth Overshoot Day, previously known as Ecological Debt Day, is a reminder of the enormous toll we take on the Earth."

Gotta say that the whiny eco liberal socialists have come up with more interesting terms than in the 1970's. Then it was simply: global cooling; new ice age; population bomb; ozone depletion killing Earth; Alcar apples; nature versus nurture; food pyramid; red meat bad; milk bad; any fats bad; cholesterol bad, not tryglicerides; oil depletion; and on and on it went. None that were proven correct.

At what point in their mental growth do these so-called intellectuals shut down their reasoning and purposefully ignore history? My guess is somewhere around the 9th grade because of public school indoctrination. Got better guess?

Oh, so that’s why we’re all dead and the gas stations and grocery stores are all closed. I was wondering what happened.

"Don't bother going to the grocery store because There's Nothing There!"

Well, at least not in Sean Penn's or Danny Glover's socialist utopia of Venezuela. Heard anything from them lately? How's their best friend in Cuba working out now that Obambi has opened up travel and relations? Where's all the money that was supposed to flow into that communist nation and make a better life for its population? What, no capitalist ventures? I read that more Cubans are still trying to escape That can't be right.

Here are a few of the comments on that topic. Liberals really are God-less and self-hating.

>>>Tax the churches out of business, NOW! No more BS about creation and saviors, it’s all manmade sci fi lies.

>>>Even those staunch Evangelical preachers that tell those climate deniers to pray are running out of the right prayers to chant, Mother Nature is not listening to them anymore and GOD is running out of patience!

>>>The best thing we can do, and for some reason it’s hardly ever mentioned, is control our reproductive habits and stop overpopulating the planet.

And my favorite:

Oh, is that all? I’m kidding, of course. Vote for Hillary: the more women’s rights are promoted worldwide, the lower population growth. The two remaining areas of the world with high fertility rates (Africa and the Middle East) are not coincidentally places where women are treated like second-class citizens. When power is denied you, you find it where you can. Many disempowered women quickly realize that the only power that can’t be taken away from them is their womb.

Got that right but add Zimbabwe as well. Think how proud their citizens must be ... while rummaging through the ruling class' garbage!

For the rest of 2016, we’ll be “living on resources borrowed from future generations,” as the World Wildlife Fund pointed out when we failed last year.

What indescribable arrogance and delusional self importance for an individual or group to define the inflexible parameters of what quantity of anything is the maximum a human being or humanity generally is "allowed" to use.

I was very young when I figured out all by myself, that aside from nuclear reactions, matter cannot be created or destroyed.
Further, space "debris" has showered the earth constantly since creation, and I am certain that whatever has left the earth permanently is a minuscule percentage of what has arrived.

All my education training and learning only increases my contempt for groups with the grandiose names like World Wildlife Fund or We Got the Answers Necessary to Control Every Human Being on Earth Society.

Truly, ignorance and stupidity are the most abundant things on earth, if not in the universe.
