The thing that makes this even stranger is for Julian Assange to mention Rich.I think it was a hint.
Was set to testify and working on voter fraud.
Nothing being stolen was part of the message.
Just like Vince Foster’s demise was meant to send a message.

If you’re talking about that headline that’s been all over, it’s misleading. Assange says “it could have been a dnc staffer” end quote. The rest of the headline says — like the dnc staffer murdered....etc. (paraphrase) Assange did not imply it was Seth Rich- the writer of the headline added that.
That’s not to say there aren’t some serious questions surrounding this murder, but there’s ALSO a lot of assumptions being made.
It's not that bad of a neighborhood, either; and it's not uncommon for workaholics on Capitol Hill to be up at that hour to jog or walk the dog before going to work (early) in their high-pressure DC career jobs.

The other possibility is what used to happen in DC to whites in the 70’s and 80’s before the big crack down on crime. Black racists murdered whites big time in DC. Would explain that robbery was not the motive of the execution style murder.

There have been a spate of muggings there in the past year, what with increased gentrification spreading in a wider circle around the Capitol into areas that had been solidly black from around the time of "white flight" in 1950 until the recent revitalization of Florida Avenue and H Streets since 2010 or so. The DC buzz is that at least some of the street robberies ("Give me your wallet/phone/jewelry", etc) are attributable to yuppies walking with earbuds in or with their faces in their smartphones. Also, the economy is much worse for unskilled people than in decades. And then there is the cumulative effect of the dumbing-down, weaponized secularization, "rights talk", racial balkanization and DoubleSpeak for the past 7 years — all of which are emboldening street criminals.
That said, someone on another thread put forth the theory that the recent uptick in street crime was seen as a cover story opportunity for whomever wanted to kill this guy for political reasons.
