“Progressives have warped so many minds that most Americans just intuitively feel (passion) that the more democracy, the better”
Interesting recent elections has demonstrated progressive elites like democracy only when the people vote for their candidate or program. Note the efforts to prevent Trump and Sanders from becoming the nominees of their parties. Note the unwillingness of Jeb, Cruz, Kasich, Graham, Romney and others to accept the votes of the people to the point they have violated their word of honor. Imagine one of the founding father signing a public pledge and then violating an oath when a candidate he didn’t like was chosen.
No doubt. The Left builds nothing. They are incapable. They can only soil the noble institutions built by decent men and women.
