OK I was joking but in reality you should know algebra BEFORE you get to college.
It should disqualify you if you don’t. Go to a trade school.
Welders make good money.
Many trades require strong math skills. Would you want a carpenter who couldn’t do algebra?
I actually think tradesmen (welders, carpenters, masons etc) have an instinctive understanding of math already. A house framer knows a heck of a lot more about algebra than a lawyer or doctor.
They just don't give it a fancy name.
The world needs ditchdiggers too.
I had to take algebra in high school (maybe junior high, I don’t remember). It was required as well as geometry and cursive writing in primary grades. To go to college, calculus was recommended. To not be able to do algebra and graduate college is unbelievable.
