MAJOR UPDATE BELOW: In order to give the update context we are placing the update at the conclusion of the original outline.
By now everyone is aware of the officer involved shooting of Philando Castile that became a viral BLM activist case as a direct result of his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds (aka Lavish Reynolds) live-streaming the aftermath from their vehicle. BACK STORY HERE
NOTE: It is critical to remember -as you review the images and the video- optically the live stream was captured as a mirror image. Some video uploads mirror the image, it can be confusing, you have to reset your reference points. Philando Castile was driving, Diamond Reynolds was the passenger.
During the uploaded video narration Ms. Reynolds stated the police officer pulled them over for a broken tail light.
There are several aspects of the narrative as told that didnt pass the sniff test, however, something about the tail light just didnt seem to make sense. Especially when you consider it was daylight when they were pulled over; and where in the aftermath media video it can be noted the tail lights were operable.

Armed robbery suspect! And there’s cops dead in Dallas because of the racism LIE.
Last I heard there was an ongoing investigation. How do you know that the guy didn't say "FU PIG" as he made a grab at something? How do you know the guy didn't actually pick up a gun and point it at the cop? We don't know anything other then what the GIRLFRIEND of a crip said happened.
I'll offer a little bit of advice.
If two different people point out the error in your statement, then either:
An appropriate response is not "HUH", or "Damn, you dumb". It just compounds your error.
I'll leave it to you to determine which one applies to you.
I think that if a gun were loose in the vehicle, it would have been pretty obvious in the video that started immediately after the shooting.
It pains me to come to the honest conclusion that many of the grievances of BLM are not without merit.
I agree with this and every other comment you've made not his thread. The replies by many others here are troubling, particularly as I have been on this forum long enough to know damn well that if Philando Castile was a white guy who after informing that he was a CCW holder was gunned down while complying with a police officer's request to provide identification, there would be dozens of threads and thousands of posts of frothing rage, all of it justified.
My LEO friends tell me it’s becoming a common tactic, unfortunately, for suspects at traffic stops to lie about having a CCW...even if it only puts the LEO at ease for 1 second, it’s enough of an advantage to sucker punch the LEO with a bullet and then you have a dead cop.
The officer clearly ordered her not to move.
The official statement said the officer thought he was reaching for a gun. Nothing about drawing and pointing it at an officer; even without launching an official investigation, I would imagine that this would have been mentioned had it been the case.
The license plate was the same as the one on the car that the thieves drove off in.
I have a feeling BLM will not want to see the dash cam and body cam footage.
When BLM is making saints out of people who attack others, they are without merit. As this constitutes 95% of their 'protests', I dismiss BLM as being any form of a valid voice. A broken clock is right twice a day, BLM doesn't even have that track record to fall back on.
All lives matter, from conception forward, and anyone who murders them in cold blood should be held accountable, no matter if they are a technician in a clinic or a police officer on the street.
That might explain her cavalier attitude toward the guy , but she didn’t bother to even check on her daughter in the back seat . As a mom it would have been the first thing I would do .
Watch some analysis by Tommy Sotomayor on youtube. He explains the actions of thug black women as needing D&A. Can’t say what it is here. And by the age this woman is she had probably had half a dozen baby daddies that had already been killed and she just didn’t care. BUT she sure can get famous with her cell phone.
“There’s no evidence whatsoever that he was a valid CCW permit holder. “
I think we’re gonna find out that was a lie.
When it first happened the girlfriend said it was a Chinese cop . That narrative seems to have disappeared .
Not surprising that you leftist BLM types always run with the CNN media narrative.
This really isn’t the time or place for your cop-hating. There are plenty of bad cops, and I’m the first to say so, but this isn’t the right thread for you to be attacking cops. And by the way, waving guns at cops is never a good idea. Are you still defending those Bundy idiots?
Wow. Thanks for your viewpoint, I’ve never defended the Bundy clan, I asked a serious question: If people want to say that someone ‘might’ aim a gun at an officer is all the justification needed to shoot them, then they certainly wouldn’t have cared if the feds shot all those protesters at Bundy Ranch.
As for ‘cop hating’, if you call holding public employees to the same laws I’m subject to ‘cop hating’, then the problem isn’t with me.
