Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), Iran nuclear kabuki last year, told the Council on Foreign Relations June 23 that the Joint Plan of Action, JCPOA had been successfully implemented so far...
Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton is for the agreement, but Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been skeptical. Asked about Trumps threats to renegotiate the agreement, Coons called that possibility a fools errand. Coons said that personal relationships between Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and between Energy Secretary Ernie Moniz and Ali Salehi, Iranian Atomic Energy Agency [IAEA] have been apparently been effective.
As member of the Foreign Relations Committee and possible chairman, Coons has taken a lead on JCPOA-related issues. He was one of the last two converts to facilitate.
Irans calls for the destruction of Israel to its support for terrorism in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, to its ongoing illegal ballistic missile tests, unchecked nuclear enrichment and human rights violations may fuel JCPOA 2.0, a new round of negotiations with Iran next year.

Rab.
How is Nuke-u-lure not haram?
What part of never negotiate with terrorists don’t our elected officials understand?
Yeah, stop the terror right freaking now or you get nuked. Deal?
Yes, which should be a unilateral bombing of all important targets within Iran.
Dang, I read that wrong. Thought it said “Should the next President Consider a Plan to Nuke Iran?”
No more “negotiations.” Nuke the bastards, then ask: “Who’s next?!”
Yes. The new Iran nuke deal should consist of one well-placed 10 megaton firecracker.
beet, “Yes. The new Iran nuke deal should consist of”
All of this chest beating and bravado is for feel good. You may whip them and may flay them , but till you define and name them, you don’t really care to change them.
The really dangerous enemy here, in within each of our leaders and in each of us who select them.
Rudyard & Rab can but opine.
Wrong question, but it implies the right answer.
Yes, Nuke 2.0.
I think I see the problem.
“Should the next US President consider a nuke deal with Iran?”
Of course. Just drop a few nukes on them and make Persia an inhabitle glass desert for the next 10,000 years.
That’s a deal I can accept, support and live with.
Yeah, no nukes period.
Coons is a self-avowed Marxist. RINOs in Delaware helped elect him. They refused to support the party’s nominee, Christine O’Donnell. Then they voted for Coons. Beware Mr. Trump.
I’m not saying that Mr. Trump is anything like Miss O’Donnell. I’m warning him about how traitorous the RINOs are. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
Just re-read Coons’ “Bearded Marxist” college paper piece, after looking at this thread. College did a number on him; the man cannot think critically.
Didn’t Coons get in there because the RNC/GOPe torpedoed O’Donnell’s campaign?
COD would have thrown a much needed wrench in the obamacare wheel as well.
If Nuke 1.0 happened in August of 1945 then yeah, I’m totally down with a “Nuke 2.0”
Yes...immediately rip up the one Obama made!
