The USAF Veterinary Service and technicians took real good care of the MWD until the organization was dismantled by partisan politics in 1983. One will find the former USAF veterinarians and 908’s have served honorably in all facets of society since the destruction of the organization. Any one of the former USAFVC would have gone extra lengths to prevent this from happening to any dogs.
