A poll from CNN just flashed across my Twitter feed. Apparently 69% of people think Trump should cut all business ties while he is campaigning. He’s doing nothing illegal, so why should he?
The man spent $50 million of his own money. If he wants to have the events at his properties, go right on ahead. He’s going to do them somewhere, so why not his own properties?
Controlling the venue and the subcontractors also means less chance of sabotage.
Do people in government resign when they run for President? No. So why should Trump stop operating his businesses? He is self funding his campaign for the most part, so why not save money by using his own company assets? They are really digging deep for something to find wrong with him.
