DONALD J. TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT- CAMPAIGN STATEMENT:
The month of June represents the first full month of fundraising activity for the campaign and this will be reflected in the June FEC report. The campaign held its first campaign fundraising event on May 25th, 2016. To date, the campaign’s fundraising has been incredible and we continue to see a tremendous outpouring of support for Mr. Trump and money to the Republican Party. The positive response to our fundraising efforts so far is a further indication that the country does not want yet another corrupt politician like Crooked Hillary.
Mr. Trump added, “If need be, there could be unlimited “cash on hand” as I would put up my own money, as I have already done through the primaries, spending over $50 million dollars. Our campaign is leaner and more efficient, like our government should be.”

This one is for the candidate directly and I donated. I got a PAC one yesterday...passed on that! Gave to the Vets and ordered from the store...now probably no more until after the convention.
In years past I gave to the National Party and they gave to candidates...NEVER AGAIN.

You dont get it. People need and WANT buy in to be on the winning team. He could self fund the whole thing if he wanted. But is that a good idea. He showed he has put his own skin in the game. He showed he could put together a winning strategy with next to no money at all... like it or not he did it. When people donate money they also are showing a level of commitment. He needs to see that and those donating need to know he sees it.

Even though his net worth is more than 1000 times that of my family, he needs supporters with skin in the game.
And there are a lot more than 1000 of us. Don't think of it as his money vs. your money. Think of it as an investment in our country. As much as I hate the taxes the government extorts from me, I love my country for the opportunity it has given me. That will be lost for future generations if Hillary is elected.
Don't impoverish yourself to give, but if your country means anything at all to you give something.

He was against the donor class during primaries. Perhaps he is now just looking for small time donors, not those that are looking to buy influence.
