Main points of the story:
- Delegates wont be legally bound going into the convention.
- Although 20 states have passed laws that purport to bind delegates, these statutes cant be legally enforced.
- This year the Rules Committee will be packed with supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz, who has not endorsed Mr. Trump.
- A political party is a private association whose members join together to further their shared beliefs through electoral politics, and they have a right to choose their representatives.
- Treating parties like mini-democracies reduces choice in the general election by crowding out the features that give each party its unique identity.
- A candidate who cannot win the support of a majority of Republican delegates voting their consciences does not deserve to be the nominee and certainly has no legal right to be.
- If the Grand Old Party stands for nothing more than anointing the candidate with the most bound delegates, then it stands for nothing. Free the delegates and let Republicans be Republicans.

If they manage to keep the nomination from going to Trump, the suicide attempt will be successful.

(No, being a US Senator and the Secretary of State are not accomplishments; they're jobs.)

Are they writing this about Hillary? Of course not! The Superdelegates will decide there - the regular, "voted for" delegates are irrelevant since neither Hillary! or Bernie have enough delegates to win outright.
For the Democrats, it will be the Party and the Powers That Be that decide who gets to run...

I look forward to the day I no longer hear ‘Ted’ and ‘Cruz’ together.

What the 2000ish delegates want is much, much more important than what the 20,000,000 primary voters wanted, you see.

They will blame that on Trump.
To: Personal Responsibility
The GOPe’s may want Hillary to win.
However, don’t think they want a wipe out of down ballot candidates.

They don’t want a down ballot wipeout but the odds of that increase because they are / will sandbag Trump whenever possible. Then they’ll blame it on Trump

Free the delegates and
let Republicans be Republicans. IE: "Losers."

These resisted are such insufferable fools. No matter what happens they are forever fools. Their Whig status will be long-lasting,
