In my childhood, there was a respected adult who absolutely HATED George Romney for two things: walking away from the AMC he created, and stabbing Barry Goldwater in the back. As a kid, I could have cared less, but looking at the larger picture, it does seem that for the Romneys, it is ALL about the Romneys.
