Haven’t seen it reported or discussed, but I think Trump has quite a team digging up schumtz on people.

Every time he says something “controversial” it leaks out that he is indeed correct. Don is too smart just to lob stuff up against the wall and hope it sticks. He knows exactly what he is doing.

The treatment of immigration crimes as if they are no big deal is destroying our society, which was built on a system of law.

That you can support assisting illegal immigrants and act like it’s a proud accomplishment, is a sad day for our federal court system.

Maybe that’s why he’s thinking of hiring Dick Morris. He knows where to go to get dirt on Hillary.

I’ll check to see if NYT or NBC has the story yet.
Nope.
Guess I’ll hold my breath and sit and wait.

I read that Curiel was appointed by Obama. That fact alone says as much as anything else about the guy’s predisposition towards open borders and unrestrained immigration. When the klieg light continues to shine on Curiel there may be a lot more that comes to light.

Being here illegally is not a crime. It’s sort of like not having a business license. I’m legally fine as long as I don’t run my own business.

Crossing the border illegally and using fraudulent ID to get a job are crimes.

Being here illegally is not a crime?

Being here on an expired visa is though. So being here illegally is a crime.

Actually it’s more like me being a resident in Mexico without official permission.

I have no right to be in Mexico as a resident and the Mexican government will put me on a bus out of the country, as is the right and legal duty of the Mexican government.

Not really sure about the visa, at least for students.

The penalty seems to be various time periods (three years, ten years) for which you are barred from reentering the US.

“I read that Curiel was appointed by Obama. That fact alone says as much as anything else about the guy’s predisposition towards open borders and unrestrained immigration.”

Obama will do nearly anything to pander for votes, once America’s Foremost Fool knew the guy was Hispanic, Obama’s thought process on the appointment probably ended.

The federal harboring law:

If shelter/lodging/food is provided, then it would probably be a crime.

Did the scholarship including housing or just tuition?

The statute I cited seems to indicate that officials of sanctuary cities are committing federal crimes.

I believe the penalty should be five years.

I believe California law requires strict pension forfeiture.

The scholarships were for $1500 to $1600 apparently.

I can’t find out if the scholarships were meant to cover housing:
