The gun-control lobby has a new target: Your children’s Lego sets.

A new "study" touted by libs decries the prevalence of weapons in the brick construction kits: I kid you not. The gun-grabbers have their panties in a twist over harmless fantasy play with teeny-tiny plastic parts.

LEGO building kits are becoming increasingly violent as toy manufacturers are engaged in an “arms race” to appeal to children, a New Zealand study says. Researchers at the University of Canterbury concluded from research that examined LEGO catalogues from 1973 to 2015 that weaponry is now included in 30 per cent of kits. In addition, the building block company has seen an increase in scenarios depicting violence in its toy catalogues over the years, the research found. “Currently around 40 per cent of all pages contain some type of violence – in particular, scenarios involving shooting and threatening behaviour”, according to the study.

Maybe the kits would be more acceptable to the left if Lego devised a Political Re-education Center playset. It could have Lego barbed wire and guard towers. The guards would have little Kalishnikovs and RPKs. They could have quarries for the prisoners - I mean, imperialist pig dogs-to learn the proper value of labor.

The kit could also have removable shoes and tiny replica Lego blocks so the guard could force the imperialists to walk on them to simulate torture.

Maybe we could convince Leggo to build “adult toy” kits. Kits with weapons included. Have to be 21 to buy them, and all. NOT to be confused with certain other “adult toy”s. My Leggo X-Wing would look pretty stupid without the laser cannons and Luke’s lightsaber. (or are they Ion cannons?)
