Yeah, and how about that five year old girl suspended from school for bringing in a bubble making gun. Imagine the damage it could have caused. I guess they’d also take the class to trauma counseling or something.

Its proof you can never appease a liberal.
Lego has always had a policy of not doing army temed sets just for this reason. They do other themes like space and star wars and other sets that would make no sense not to have weapons - star wars, western, ninjao, vikings/castle, etc.
It is hardly a pro-arms company. Often the items that can be used as guns were also pieces that could be used for other thing, such as small engines/rockets, or something else.

These poor victims of Hoplophobia need a safe place where they can learn to cope with their irrational fears. I hear that Caracus Venezuela has very strict gun control. If they can’t afford to travel over seas then south side Chicago, Baltimore and south east DC also have very strict gun control.

In contrast, the Lego Brickumentary (documentary on legos) included a guy who makes more realistic lego weapons mostly for people creating re-enactment scenes. So you can buy Lego AK-47s, Civil War rifles, etc.

My son's kindergarten teacher sent home an index card with a Lego's gun taped to it saying: "Please tell your son not to bring weapons to school!"
Not a joke. The teacher was and the school system is but this really happened.
