Target: The Corrupters! aired on ABC from September 29, 1961 to June 8, 1962.
The Target store brand was an early 1960s outgrowth of a parent company that owned both B. Dalton and Pickwick booksellers.
There appears never to have been any legal dispute about the use of the program title "Target: The Corrupters!" or the logo of a dark bullseye on a white background.
From a neighbouring shrubbery emerged a nurse, leading by the hand a small boy, who howled as he went. An anxious-looking little girl trotted at her heels. "What's the matter?" asked the Director.
The nurse shrugged her shoulders. "Nothing much," she answered. "It's just that this little boy seems rather reluctant to join in the ordinary erotic play. I'd noticed it once or twice before. And now again to-day. He started yelling just now
"
"Honestly," put in the anxious-looking little girl, "I didn't mean to hurt him or anything. Honestly."
"Of course you didn't, dear," said the nurse reassuringly. "And so," she went on, turning back to the Director, "I'm taking him in to see the Assistant Superintendent of Psychology. Just to see if anything's at all abnormal."
Oh man, I remember that show. Yeah, it was only on for a short period of time.
Back in the day when it was OK to be straight, White, healthy, and wholesome.
Normal is anything prior to January 20, 2009. Everything after that is complete insanity / Hell on Earth
For me it was November 6, 2012. I felt a huge spiritual gut sinker. Others felt it too.
The America and American and middle class and Patriot and White hating halfrican, a muslim, a sodomite, an open Communist who spent the last four years destroying everything good and decent and Holy was....re-elected???
