Some of us in California who had voted for Prop 187 in 1994 knew what Dubya was made of.
Prop 187 was our attempt to slow the illegal alien invasion. Entirely a grassroots affair, we were fought tooth and nail by the open borders/treason lobby leadership of the GOP.
Jack Kemp and Bill Bennett were two of the treason lobby gang who flew out here to side with illegal aliens against the voters of California. A third was the then-governor of Texas, GW Bush. I never forgot that bit of gratuitous backstabbing and I didn’t vote for him.
W spearheaded the 2006 push to legalize them. Even my two Georgia Senators voice concurrence - until they got bitch slapped back to realville.
